Wanted Sandhopper Road trailer, preferably double stacker. My elderly relative Intends to do the Sandhopper circuit (worlds,Nationals, open meetings etc). Also does anyone know where the Worlds are this year as they were at TBYC last year. Thank you in anticipation.
For the rest of the Cadets (must be able to sail a basic beat, reach and run, and be able to sail to and from the training area) there is the CADET REGATTA.
Programme: (All races are fully supported)
Friday 31st May – Optional Briefing and training at 7.30pm in the Sail Training Room. We will cover Racing Rules, Course, Starting and a practical session of hand positions when tacking.
Saturday – Four 15 minute Races (slightly longer than usual training).
Briefing; changed and rigged in the Sail Training Room at 9.30am, on the water at 10.00am.
Sunday – Beginner’s Team Racing – Teams of 3 boats, 4 races each.
Briefing; changed and rigged in the Sail Training Room at 10.30am, on the water at 11.00am.

The club tow car (RAV4) is available to launch RIBs with any club member with a clean license over 25 insured to drive it.
If you have a duty coming up and want a refresher on what to do please come along to any race and let the Duty Officer know if you would like to join a displacement or the committee boat to help / observe.
Don’t forget you can swap a duty with a VOLUNTEER PLEASE duty

By popular request, this Thursday evening is Dinghy night and by popular demand we will run another rules evening- nothing special just a whiteboard and discussion.
NOR & SSIs for TBYC regatta attached, these are supplementary to the Club SIs, note first start time on Saturday 10:00am, Cadets welcome, Cadets,please have a ribbon at the top of your mast to make identification easier for the Race Officer. Please note times have changed for Sunday compared to Version 1
There is plenty of opportunity for Cadets to sail next weekend in the Regatta.
