Please note that the New Years Day Brunch starts at 10.30, the event is sold out and you may have to be a bit flexible if all the tables are busy, looking forward to kicking off the New year with good friends.

It is with deep sadness that I have to announce that Leslie Sheen passed away yesterday. Les was previously an active member of our cruising section and until recently enjoyed his lunchtime visits to the club with his wife Janet and friends.
Our sincere condolences to Janet and family.
The Club burgee was flown at half mast today as a sign of respect and funeral details will be advised in due course.

Thank’s for the update, Commodore! This is a matter close to our hearts, so it’s a shame that the ‘comments’ option was turned off. The best way to reduce conjecture is to repond quickly to members concerns. I’m sure that we’re all much happier now.

Unfortunately no one from General Committee attended the public meeting on the 16th at Shoebury High School which the members that did attend found disappointing and inexplicable.
