Contender Worlds

Hi all – you might like to hear the latest on Chris and the Contender World Championships at Brisbane

You know that the shipping container carrying the eleven Contenders out to Brisbane got delayed and there was doubt whether she would get there for the start of racing – which was yesterday.

However everything just scraped through on time. We have not heard any results yet but at least Chris was in on the start

There is three days of the Australian National Championshps followed by three days on the World Champioships

If anyone is interested the web page for the reslts is www.contenderworlds2010.com.news but I can’t find any results there yet.

    Having spoken to Chris he told me that unfortunately his boat was not quite rigged for the first 3 races due to problems.
    However he has finished 2 races now, finishing 13th and 21st and is now lying 39th out of 56.
    The results are there. Remember this is not the Worlds yet that starts on the 7th. The results are under
    “2010 Contender Australian Championships”
