He’s Done it Again !

Kyle Stoneham decided not to defend his Inland Sprint 15 National title at Grafham last week end (he wanted to but you can only sail one boat at a time unfortunately!). Instead he opted to join up with Hugh Styles at the same venue & & compete in the F18 Inland Nationals sailing a Nacra Infusion. Some very hairy racing especially on Sunday created eventful situations for all competitors but guess who came through to win? Team Styles & Stoneham are the 2009 F18 Inland National Champs.

TBYC Christmas Party – Sat 12 Dec 2009

Published by under Club Notices,Social

Not sure if you have been down the club lately and seen the fliers.

There are still a few tickets left for the Christmas Party.

The booking form is on the reverse of the attachment if you would like to book a table.

If tickets are sold out then you could always join in for the entertainment after 9pm and they cost £10pp. The Zoltans are fun local jump-jive band and well worth seeing if you haven’t before http://www.zoltans.co.uk/

TBYC Fast Spitfire at Minis bay

Published by under Catamarans

David & Kyle had never sailed a spitfire together before untill the Nationals at Minnis Bay S.C. on the 9/10/11th October just past. To come 2nd in a fleet of 22 boats including the top spitfire veterans is a special achievement & there is little doubt that had they been involved with the boat, kindly lent by that oldsea dog Pete Thompson, for a few months competitive practice we would have another pair of catamaran National Champions at Thorpe Bay. Well done guys.
Heres the link to the results http://www.spitfiresailing.org.uk/nresults.asp
