The 6 nations cup kicks off on Saturday and will be shown on the club TV’s.

This weekends matches:

Saturday:
2.30pm Ireland V Italy
5pm England V Wales

Sunday:
3pm Scotland V France

as you may have seen a section of the wooden toe rail/side runner has been removed midway down the slipway. This is to give a better indication of how the wooden rails change the wave motion/water run off. if you happen to be passing the slipway at a time before high tide then your observations would be helpful. It is getting a bit windier this week coupled with high lunch/afternoon tides.

Found today (Sunday 31st) lying in the grass car park. Two pieces of carbon tube joined by a flexible coupling – possibly a tiller extension? Have placed in club foyer.

…to Paul Spratt and Barry Duce who spent a lot of time and effort using their talents to make a great start on the Committee Boat refurbishment. She is already starting to look more ship shape. Also thank you to Gordon Sanders and Tony Clarke who have cleaned out both displacements ready for painting and antifouling.
