The Frozen Sheets Open Meeting has been postponed to Saturday 12th January 2013.

Start time will be 11.00 am.

The Frozen Sheets race starts at 11.00 am on Saturday 29th December.

The kitchen will be open for pre-race breakfast.

Prize giving will be held in the main bar as soon as possible after the race.

We will be naming and launching the new club Rib on Saturday 29th December at 9.30 immediatly preceeding the Frozen Sheets Trophy Race.

We look forward to seeing many members take part in the launch with a small drink prior to setting off on the annual Frozen Sheets race.

The Brass Monkey Race is being run on the Sunday 30th December at Leigh Sailing Club with many boats going from TBYC and rescue cover from our new ribs.

Celebrate New Years Eve with family and friends at TBYC…

Tickets are now on sale from the club bar for our New Years Eve Party – just £15 per person to include a delicious hot and cold buffet by Butlers from 8pm, or entertainment only tickets available for only £5 for arrival after 9pm.

Groovy Tunes DJ will be playing fantastic music from 8pm through til 1am New Years Day 2013….

Following the fantastic Christmas Dinner Dance at TBYC on Saturday night, I’d like to say a huge thank you to the people that made the night so successful…

Special thanks to Mick Kilkelly and the Butlers team for a delicious and professionally served meal, to Lorraine and our brilliant bar staff  – their organisation and hard work was much appreciated, to Steve Jolley and the Ely Sisters for fantastic entertainment throughout the evening, and finally an enormous thank you to all the people (some small!) who helped set up for this event on Saturday afternoon – you know who you are!

I’m sure you’ll also be pleased to hear that thanks to the generosity of our members, we raised just over £400 with our raffle and auction, and a further £205 for the fantastic Mo-Vember shave-off!  Thank you all….

Don’t forget, tickets are on sale now (and selling fast) for our New Years Eve party and New Years Day Brunch – numbers will be limited, so please buy your tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!

We are pleased to announce the return of our famous New Years Day Brunch – enjoy a “recovery” brunch cooked and served by club and committee members!

Between 11.00am and 1.00pm on 1st January, Martin Swindon will be joined by Mick Kilkelly and helpers in the kitchen for one day only (in fact two hours only!) serving full English breakfasts and other brunch options including Scrambled Eggs with Smoked Salmon (no pre-orders required) at only £7.50 per person.

Tickets available now from the club bar – this was a sell out event last year, so please buy your tickets early to avoid disappointment (no later than 28th December 2012).

The bar will be open and will also be serving Bucks Fizz, Traditional Virgin Mary’s and Bloody Mary’s.
