Gerald Webb Senior, Flag at half mast

Gerald Webb senior passed away yesterday evening following a short period in hospital.
Gerald was a former TBYC Commodore and very active sailing member at TBYC also abroad who was always very encouraging when seeing our club busy both on and off the water.
funeral details will follow in due course.

    A true gentleman and sailor was Gerald. I saw him on the slipway & in the clubhouse only a few days ago
    All those in the cruising section who knew him much better than I did will mourn his passing and remember him fondly I have no doubt.

    My Condolences to his family. Gerald will be remembered for his enthusiastic support which helped to make our club what is it today.

    A true gentleman and long time sailor who will be fondly remembered by many, especially those in the the cruising section of that I have no doubt.

    It may give the Webb family some comfort to know that Gerald came into the club on Friday morning with a big grin on his face, he asked to borrow a pen as he was about to buy a boat off the notice board. He was the happiest I’ve seen him.
