Club Lift to the Bar Not Working 28th July 2021

The engineer has visited the club and the lift is now back in operation. He has suggested that if the lift can be used with a couple of people in it, it seems to be happier for the moment. They are going to investigate the issue further and quote for the repair. However, it can be used with one person if needed, it just seems happier with a couple of people currently!
If you notice a fault with the lift can you please notify the bar staff and if possible the club secretary on 01702 587563, so they can attempt to reset it, place the appropriate signage on it and contact the engineer. If you cannot speak with them please email [email protected] with the details.

We have tried to reset the lift this morning and this has not been successful. Therefore, we have called the lift engineer. They have said they they will be with us within 48 hrs. As soon as we have any information, will update this post. We thank you for your patience.
If you are a lift engineer, a member of the club and would like to get involved as a volunteer. I would welcome someone with the expertise who would be happy to be called upon on occasion to give advice on these complicated pieces of machinery.

I have been advised that there is an issue with the lift at the club, I will get this looked at ASAP. I will update the website as soon as I know more about the fault and any timescales for repairs.
