*Bar & Clubhouse Closure Wednesday 7th Lunchtime*
On Wednesday 7th December the clubhouse, bar & kitchen will be closed between 11am & 3pm. This is in order to carry out some essential maintenance and upgrades on some of our cellar and bar equipment.
The clubhouse, bar & kitchen will be back open in the evening at 6pm for the Rayleigh Brass band.

Christmas Ball!

Tickets for this years Christmas ball which will be taking place on Saturday 17th December will be available from THURSDAY 10th NOVEMBER @ 7pm at the clubhouse in person. (Email and phone bookings won’t be taken at this time)
Tickets will cost £38.50pp and will include a welcome drink on arrival, 3 course meal and Live music. This years theme is “A hint of red” with the dress code being black tie.
The menu & booking sheets are attached to this post and can be filled out by table-leads in advance, but no bookings will be taken before 7pm on the 10th November.
We expect demand for this event to be very high so we will only be taking bookings in person at the clubhouse on Thursday 10th November. All tickets must be paid in full at the time of booking. If there are tickets available after this date then we will update members.

Here’s your opportunity to get together with some friends and get into a festive mood.
After last year’s success we will be running our Christmas Fayre menu again! At both lunch and dinner times.
Booking is essential. The menu and booking form are attached.
We look forward to hearing from you soon and welcoming you to the club.

With it now being the start of the school summer holidays I’m pleased to say that the Clubhouses hours have been extended to all day on a Wednesday & Thursday.
All Clubhouse and Kitchen opening hours can be seen below.
Monday
The club is closed all day, except for Bank Holidays, which are Sunday hours.
Tuesday
Bar: Closed
Kitchen: Closed
Wednesday
Bar: 11:00 – 23:00
Kitchen: 11.30 – 14.30 & 18:00 – 20:00
Thursday
Bar: 11:00 – 23:00
Kitchen: 11:30 – 14:30
Friday
Bar: 11:00 – 23:00
Kitchen: 11:30 – 14:30 & 17:30 – 20:00
Saturday
Bar: 11:00 – 23:00
Kitchen: 11:00 – 15:00

Kitchen opening times will be extended during the sailing season to encompass sailing times. If there’s any questions then please speak to Chef James.
If the Bar is empty 1 hour before closing then it will close early. If you plan on coming into the club during the last hour phone ahead and the bar will stay open.

This is a notice to members that some parts of the clubhouse mainly the main bar are due to be hired out on the dates below, on all occasions there will still be either the main bar or commodores bar (dependent on what’s been hired out) available for members to use.

–Early Clubhouse Closure Due To Spring Ball–
Just a note to members that the Bar and kitchen will close at the earlier time of 2:30pm today to allow us to set up the clubhouse for the Spring Ball. Due to this we also won’t be showing todays 6 nations matches.
