After more challenging and exciting conditions today, tomorrow morning sees the conclusion of the Icicle Series and Winter sailing at TBYC. This year for the first time sailors have been racing in a General Handicap fleet for an overall series trophy, with four individual classes running in Tandem.
The Winter and Icicle Series have been well supported this year, with 63 boats racing before Christmas and 52 in this year’s Icicle Series. The one course and mass start have been popular with sailors and have made for an exciting series between all classes in a wide range of testing conditions.
The Winter and Icicle Series Prize giving will be held in the main bar at around 14.30 tomorrow, Sunday. So come down, enjoy the carvery and support all TBYC and visiting sailors who have raced this winter.

I am glad to say the TV’s are working and showing Winter Olympics for most the week and today England are playing Scotland in Six Nations at 5pm. The sun is out but there is no sailing, it’s windy but we are keeping the doors closed, the bars open, well stocked and Scott can feed you. What better time to drop down and enjoy the ambiance. Look forward to seeing you all soon.

A huge thank you for those members who supported Scott on his first full weekend.
I was pleased to see a large amount of members enjoying the Sunday Carvery – which was a total success.
The kitchen will now be open from 9 am to 6 pm during the weekends – so lets see many more of you support our new Chef and the club bar.

Following on from a very successful cadet week, I am pleased to say that the Photo CD’s with 1000 images on, are now available from behind the bar. If you have pre ordered and paid for a copy then you can collect it from the bar, but don’t worry if you have not ordered a copy, as you can buy one from the bar for just £10.00.
Many thanks to all those members who contributed to this disc
