Cadets: Matt Dear Trophy Race at TEYC on Saturday 17th June

Published by at 12:23 under Cadets

We have supported the Matt Dear Race for Cadets at Thames Estury Yacht Club for several years. It is one of our ‘away’ events that all Cadets who can confidently sail a course can enjoy.
This prodigious Race is in memory of Matthew Dear who tragically lost his life after taking Anabolic steroids, is to raise the awareness of the dangers to young people.
It attracts Cadets from all our local clubs and is well organised with trophies donated by the ‘Dear’ family. There is no entrance fee.
We will hold a meeting on Thursday 15 June at 7.30pm to collect Entry forms and consider/organise transport of boats. I will also brief the Cadets for 30 minutes after speaking to parents.
The Entry form is here Matt Dear Entry Form 23. Please print it out and give it to me on Thursday. If you can’t make the meeting, please send the form directly to me. I will then register you.

Programme:
