Cadets – Matt Dear Race at TEYC Cancelled
Due to winds of 21+ mph with gusts of 31 to 33 mph the Matt Dear has been cancelled.
I have not yet heard from the organisers of the Interclub Race on Sunday, but as the forecast is for even higher gusts, I presume they will also cancel.
I am not advising any Cadets to sail in these conditions.
The meeting this evening (Friday) is also cancelled.
I will be taking the Cadet Training/Races the following weekend, 6th October. This is last one of the season, so I intend to make the final races something special. It will be the CAKE Competition.
I am therefore, asking for any parents, possible with their child’s help to bake a Cake for the event. We are looking for a total of 4 cakes, which will be presented to the winners, who will then share with everyone else! Please let me know if you can help?
