The Annual General Meeting of the Sandhopper Class British Association will be held at Thorpe Bay Yacht Club on Saturday 3rd Feb 2024 commencing at 11.00 a.m.

It is with great sadness that I need to announce the passing of Gary Plant yesterday morning.

Gary has been an active member of the Sandhopper fleet sailing Sand Spirit with his wife Polly since joining TBYC in 2009 and has also served the club as House Rep.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Polly and all his close family and friends. He will be very much missed at TBYC, particularly in the Sandhopper fleet.

Also: The MBSC Social Event – just a few weeks away on the Saturday of the Sandhopper Open on July 15th! Everyone is welcome to join the evening with dinner from 6:30.

They will be serving beef or vegetarian lasagne, garlic bread and salad, followed by cheesecake, all for just £10 per head! This will be a great social evening at the club as previous events have proven!

To help with catering and to avoid any disappointments, we will need payment by Wednesday 12th July please as we will be unable to accept new food orders after this date.
