Sunday Carvery & Mothers Day 10th March

Hi everyone,

Just to let you all know that Sunday Carvery will be on again this weekend, following its growing success over the the last 3 weeks!

I would also like to say “Thank you so much to everyone for your support over the past few months”

In the next few weeks we will be looking into tweaking the menu to cater everyone’s needs and also we now have a new contact number for your enquires and booking’s: The new number is 07851759265. We will be putting a booking system in place for Sunday Carvery due to how busy we are getting, we wouldn’t want anyone to miss out, also if you can remember to book your lunchtime tables throughout the week too, if its more than 4 people per booking and this will help us staff and prepare for the day.

Last but not least, we are filling up very quickly for Mother’s Day, so please book your tables to avoid disappointment. It will be a Carvery on that Sunday 10th March and there will be a choice of 3 meats on this day with a special 3 course meal deal for Mum’s to be confirmed.

Kind regards Lisa @fuudltd.

TBYC Website Moderator with some programming skills required.

Published by under Club Notices,Members

I have moderated and seen to the programming of the TBYC website for 5 years now, it’s time to hand over the keys to someone with the necessary skills.

This has nothing to do with the hosting because as of last November Ian Homan took over the hosting from me and is kindly hosting the website on his server but does not have an active role in the administration of the site.

The role would require you to know about WordPress and HTML to administer the site.

If any member is interested in taking over my role then please contact Janet Willsmore at the club with your experience.  email: [email protected]

At the RNLI Supporters dinner last night, I am very pleased and honoured to receive, on behalf of Thorpe Bay Yacht Club, a letter of thanks signed by the Cheif Executive of the RNLI for the years of support our club has given to the Institute. Thanks were given to us for not only the financial donations but also for welcoming members of the crews and committees to use our club facilities.

We also received a plaque, of thanks, from the Institute.

TBYC Racing Calendar 2013-2014

Published by under Club Notices,Racing

Don’t write all the racing dates from the sailing programme, which is due out soon, onto a Calendar. This is just to confirm that a TBYC Racing Calendar 2013-2014 is in production and will be available soon, although as a reminder it is preorder only. More details to follow, however it is expected to be a similar price to last year. Again the Calendar contains all the racing and many other dates pre printed, with loads of great photos from last year by Linzi.
The Calendar doesn’t start until April so will follow on from last years.

If you brought a last years there is a couple of changes that now need to be made, the Sandhopper and Cruiser Lift in have now been arranged for the 23rd and 24th March.
