Some quick fire shots as the chimney disappears leaving just a dust trail.The bang was heard by TBYC several seconds after it visibly came down. |

Isle Of Grain Power Station Chimney
For anyone who missed it this morning, click on this link to BBC footage of the chimney coming down – it’s really great as it shows it both from ground level and the air, demonstrating just how massive the structure was!

Blow-Up Brunch
This chimney is being blown-up at 11am next Wednesday, 7th September.
Apart from the person pushing the button we have one of the best views available.
To mark this occasion there will be brunch available from 9.30am until midday
