Cadets on Tour

George Warrington & Johnny Van Ingen – TBYC/Stone GBR 9029
Molly Brown & Ben Warrington – Otters/TBYC GBR 3069

Cadet Nationals – Pwllheli

See link for results: http://www.kbsuk.com/data/CadetEvents/data/results/mywebnh.html

Tough event sailed in the tail of hurricane Bill, so we had heavy breeze and huge seas and 2 days blown out completely.

However Jess and Alex managed 9th place from 92 entered but although their World Team standings slipped 2 places, their huge lead on the fleet meant that they retained 4th spot out of the 7 to qualify for the Worlds in Argentina – still all to play for with the last Indicator in 2 weeks at Parkstone…… watch this space.
World Team Results http://www.kbsuk.com/data/CadetEvents/data/results/mywebos.html

George and Johnny were 66th and Molly and Ben, both sailing in their 1st nationals were 50th.

I am very excited now that we have 3 cadet boats at TBYC – and judging by the comments from members in the dinghy park so are you! The UKNCCA are also very excited and keen to bring back “Squadron 17” into the fold and are keen to assist…..! So if you have an interest in joining the fleet and would like to try a Cadet please let me know – I might be able to help more than you think! (Cadets no older than 16yrs).

For winning the Sprint Nationals, must be heading towards some kind of record for number of times you can get your name on the board in a year!
