New Slipway Gate Code
Published 10:33am on 4 Aug 2026
Morning Sailors,
The keen eyed amongst you may have noticed the installation of the gates at the top of the slipway yesterday. Following many police call outs and dispersion orders in July, it was felt that this visual reminder of our property boundary was needed.
Today will see the project completed and the installation of a combination lock. The code is the same as the dinghy park and should be used by all members in a similar manner. Please keep locked when the slipway is not in use for club activities.
If you are unsure of how to unlock the gates to the slipway or dinghy park, please contact the club, a flag officer or member of the committee.
In a similar manner to the introduction of the new committee boat and the website this year, how we use these assets is not set in stone and can evolve with members use and constructive comments regarding amendment to procedures. We welcome all suggestions which will be discussed at sailing committee meetings as they are presented.
Enjoy the summer on and off the water.
