End of Season and Winter Dingy Park Plans
Published 11:06am on 12 Oct 2026
What great weather and a great sight yesterday! over 50 Sailors were out for the last day of the season. We had TOPS, End of Season Trophy and the Sandhopper Final Fling. Thank you to all those volunteers that made such a great end to the season possible.
With the End of Season comes the need to take your boats home. As in previous years, any boat not competing in the Winter series, or paying for Winter storage must be removed from the dinghy park this week.
The North of the dinghy park will need to be clear before 07:30 next Saturday morning (Saturday 17th) when the dinghy park will close to enable lift out to take place. If you have any issues removing your boat before that time, please simply put it into the grass car park and then take it home later in the day. If you boat is to remain but is currently in that area, then temporarily move it as far south as possible. If you need help removing your boat, please contact a friend, your class captain or me this week.
Winter storage and Winter series payment options should be live on the website over the next couple of days. If you didn’t see them throughout the season, the Winter Series dates can be found on the web site on the 2026 Callendar (Racing/ Club Racing menu).
