SATURDAY WORK PARTY

Many thanks to everybody who turned up to help the work party, duties included slipway clean, club house interior and exterior painting, drainage work, electrical work, rescue boat cleaning, guard boat anti-fouling, ladies changing room refurbishment, weather station refurbishment, bosuns hut painting, committee boat painting,race mark painting etc.

    Well said Barry, it warms the heart to see so many people working away in the cold but dry conditions. More fun to be had tomorrow (Sunday) so maybe the other 950 members will turn up and lend a hand!

    As one of the other 950 members I would have turned up but according to the Sailing Programme the work party is next week. I do look at the website but not regularly and would suggest that when impromptu work parties are held that an email is sent out to all members of the club so that they too can participate.

    Apparently Kieran Laken was missed from the first list so apologies for that and thanks for helping.
    Garry – we are currently working on bulk e-mail broadcasting specially for items like this, so please bear with us while the system is finalised. In the meantime, the website is the first port of call for info.
