Published by at 03:29 under Monohulls

Good luck to all the Feva Sailors heading to the worlds in Holland, have a good one, Also to Dan & Bruce who are heading to Germany for the 49er world youth championships.
And to Barry who is going to get battered going to Holland by rib, I can only recommend nurophen for the pain

Regards and good Luck

I think it was either four or five years ago my girls along with the Sanders, Purdons and Palmers went to the World Feva championships held at Lake Guarda. I can say without a doubt that the whole Feva crowd including all the other countries made the atmosphere unbelievable, we all had a fantastic time on and off the water. The racing although bias to the Italians was tough and with a fleet of around a hundred it was great to see many of the British kids finishing high up the order.

I would just like to add if you are still sailing a Pico and the crew is bored, then now is the time to jump into a Feva as it’s a full on team effort.

I am sure Steve Hopper can arrange a test, that’s only as long as he makes it across to Holland as the last I herd his engine was falling off.

2nd day and there looks like there is some good commentary on Yachts and Yachting, all the links are on the official site http://www.rsfeva.org/worlds. The results are also updated regularly from a link on the right of that page. Out of about 160 boats after 5 Qualifying races they have now been split into Gold, Silver and Bronze Fleets. Trying not to forget anybody but the split is as follows:

    Gold Fleet
    Alex Farrell and Alex Warrington
    Jonathan and Peter Snow

    Silver Fleet
    Max Duce and Ben Farendon
    Jourdan Swindon and Gregory Watson
    Alex Bradley and Robyn Farrell

    Bronze Fleet
    John Williams and Tommy Holmes
    Madeleine Hopper and Phillippa Hadley

I am sure Steve will be giving an update soon but thought others maybe interested.
