Work Party

We will be scrubbing the slipway on Thursday night from 5pm, (19th) please bring a stiff brush etc and lend a hand, the more the easier it is for all of us, if you have a pressure washer please bring it along.

    Hi Barry

    Unfortunately I will be away so cannot help. However, as a seasoned hand in slipway scrubbing, I strongly recommend the pressurewasher over the broom! Perhaps there is also some eco friendly version of bleach we could use to kill off the weed? I suspect that is our real answer.

    Can you get hold of the Club’s jemmy as the 4×4s have again ripped off some of the slats leaving very nasty protruding nails mid jetty which easily puncture dinghy hulls. My claw hammer won’t touch them!
