…and to the ever modest Chris Boshier for coming 3rd!

Good practice for Boshier pre worlds in Melbourne starting Boxing Day, just a few degrees difference, less clobber to wear and a smattering on sun lotion! not envious at all… good luck

yeh, it was very very cold out there I can tell you. Luckily the hot punch on the Wilton (Essex y.c.”s club ship) kept me warm during the race which I watched from the upper deck & bar (mostly the later!)
Well done also to Darren (the nice one ) Fitchew who also sailed round from thorpe bay in testing conditions on his Sprint 15 & took part.

Ahem, Darren was sailing MY boat while I’m off games and his is being done up!

Yes Howard, it’s good to see your boat going so well. I can’t touch the blighter who’s is sailing it!

The next big club event is the Frozen Sheets Race on saturday 2nd January. Let’s have a big turnout, including those that haven’t ventured out this winter.
