Sandhopper First Breath

SandhopperThe Sandhoppers will be holding the ‘first breath’ race on Saturday 22nd March.

The Wetsuit Outlet has sponsored a meal in the clubhouse straight after the race for all sandhopper entrants. The course will run along the shore to enable all those walking along the front to enjoy the spectacle, please make the effort to enter and lets kick the season off with a bang.

The race will also count for the 1st Spring Series Race – we managed 22 boats for the last gasp, so it would be nice to beat it.

    Will those walking along the seafront have to stop every couple of minutes to allow you to catch up?

    That’s assuming they don’t get lost.

    What proves the point Barry, is the picture you chose to place with the posting, clearly showing a old guard boat, pushing a fully tog up Sandhopper (even the kite flying in the right direction for a change) to get it going.

    Hey Struan,

    Did you notice how many Sandhopper owners congregating at the top of the slipway today? Being duty officer, I was all set to cancel the dinghy racing but allow the sandhoppers to go. But where were they?
