Thank you for the rescue — Glenn Stoneham.

Big thanks to the guys who came so quickly to the rescue of my mate Glenn and those that called the ambulance. In the heat of the action I didn’t get their names. But an incredibly quick response and I’m glad you were there. Glenn has been checked out and will be ok. I’ve nick named him Flipper but I doubt you’ll see him in a tender again!!! Big big thanks from us both.

Seasafe 7 was helmed by Phil Hadley and Crewed by Mike Beresford who were on duty covering the inshore Pico racing. very fortunately they were very close to the incident and once alerted by Wayne’s whistle were straight into action plucking Glenn from the water and getting him ashore for medical assistance in the Bosuns Hut and a further trip to A&E to get the all clear. Well done to all involved on the water and onshore.
