For safety reasons,  please make sure you complete any other boat movements before 2.00 pm Sunday 24th March and stay clear of the boat park and slip from then until the lift-in is complete.

The Cruising Section is hosting a Quiz in the bar this Tuesday 12th March, and ALL MEMBERS are welcome.

It would be great if some of the other sailing sections got together a team – usually 4 – 6; we’d love to see more of you Sandhoppers, Fevas, Picos, Cats, Finns, Lasets, Sprints etc.

But you don’t need a team – just come by yourself and we’ll find you (and you’ll find us) convivial company!

There is no need to book; entry is £2 head which pays for the prizes.  (No food provided so eat first.)

Our quizzes are always challenging, interesting and fun and an enjoyable, healthily competitive evening is had by all.

The kitchen will be open for pre race breakfast, and prize giving will be held in the main bar as soon as possible after the race finishes.

Frozen sheets 2012 SI’s

The Frozen Sheets Open Meeting has been postponed to Saturday 12th January 2013.

Start time will be 11.00 am.

The Frozen Sheets race starts at 11.00 am on Saturday 29th December.

The kitchen will be open for pre-race breakfast.

Frozen sheets 2012 SI’s

One of our neighbours has called in to report that the boat park is very noisy now that the breeze has picked up. If your boat is stored with its mast in place, please ensure that halyards are always secured away from the mast. As a Club we want to be on good terms with our neighbours.

We found a watch in the yacht park yesterday morning (Bank Holiday Monday).

Dear all,

We are progressing well with Cadet week plans. This year we are launching a new group but want to ensure we have sufficient RIB and Support boat cover.

Currently we require an additional 2 RIBS.

Should you know of anyone who would be willing to lend a suitable craft to the club for the week of the 20th August - on the understanding that it would only be helmed by experienced and qualified personnel – please can you forward their details.
