If the top six places had been a team race, Thorpe Bay YC would have beaten Gurnard SC. 1,3,6 is a winning combination.

A couple of people that i would like to personally thank for their time and effort into the weekend are Alan Willis and Paul Spratt. As Race Officer Alan put together the Sailing Instructions and the Notice of Race. His briefing to the cadets & parents was well presented and set the tone of what is expected of a Nationals meeting with the right balance in making the weekend a fun event. For most of the young sailors this was there first Nationals and they came off the water with big smiles.

Secondly Paul Spratt gave a hugh amount of support behind the scenes with making the tag board, inputting all the results and sorting out the prize giving. Thank you both very much.

I also forgot to mention a thank you to Chaz for his motivational Pico Sailing Video of our cadets out on the water played along to the lasest pop music. This set the scene for the weekend. Thanks Chaz.
