Cadets on Tour

Good Luck to the TBYC Cadets this weekend at Burnham.

The 3rd and last selector to decide the “GBR Cadet Class World Team” takes place on the Crouch. They have had one event at Rutland which was becalmed and only one race completed. The 2nd was in Poole Harbour which was windy and challenging conditions. Alex Warrington and Ellie Wootton, his crew from Waldringfield SC, came a close 2nd missing out winning by 1 point and currently lying 2nd overall in the selector series.

This weekend will also see Matt and Katie Lloyd and Ben Warrington crewing for Stone SC’s Katherine Selfe fight it out to get themselves up the leader board.

    Well done Alex and Ellie to get in the Team for the Worlds. A brilliant effort and it keeps the name of TBYC to the forefront in the best sailing for British youth! Good luck at the Worlds.
