Look forward to the Spring. Well now is a good time to plan your sail training for this year which is still free to all members of the club.
Stage 2 starts in April followed by the 1st Stage 1 in May (another in July), spaces are limited so check your calendar and get your place booked quickly.
For more details and forms go to http://www.tbyc.org/sail-training/
Nick Alston is also in the process of planning a Stage 3 course which will be advertised soon and detailed also on the sail training webpage, watch this space.
Alan Wilson is a cruising yachtsman from Tollesbury, who has given us various sailing talks over the past few years and this year we have asked him to give us his talk on “Heavy Weather Sailing”. We have also asked Alan to combine sections of his talk on man overboard “Where’s He Gone”. This should be an interesting and thought provoking evening.

On Sunday registration is between 09:30 and 11:00, briefing 10:15 and first starting signal is not before club racing start at 11:00.
Kitchen will be serving Breakfast for everybody (Club and Sprint Racing) wanting it from 09:00.
Note for club racing: the Sprint 15’s will be racing the same course as club racing which starts at 11:00, this will probably involve a special mark and will be documented on the Race Hut Blackboard.
